            <description><![CDATA[<div><strong>Summary of Position</strong></div><div>Salary Range $120,000-$140,000</div><div><br></div><div>The Regional Director is the key liaison between Goodwillâs strategy, mission, and vision and their assigned region. They ensure operational excellence, achieve budget and sales goals, and recruit, hire, train, and retain strong teams. Regional Directors are expected to ensure that company policies and procedures are understood at all their assigned stores. The goal of the Regional Director is to motivate and direct the activities of the General Managers who run the (8-12) stores they are responsible for. They are accountable for all phases of assigned retail operations. They are responsible for protecting the brand and ensuring that organizational culture and values are extended to retail stores and throughout their area of influence and responsibility.</div><div><strong><br></strong></div><div><strong>Job Description</strong></div><div>Role and Responsibilities</div><div>&middot; Develop and implement strategies, action plans, staffing, and procedures to optimize processing of donations and maximize sales.</div><div>&middot; Responsible for delivering key performance indicators at assigned stores: customer service, production, controllable contributions, store sales, ecommerce sales and retention.</div><div>&middot; Coaches and develops store leaders through effective mentoring.</div><div>&middot; Drives employee morale through rewards and recognition.</div><div>&middot; Inspire the team and hold accountable for store operations, scheduling, store visual presentation and inventory levels to meet retail sales goals.</div><div>&middot; Ensures a safe, accident-free environment for all customers and employees and maintains compliance with established procedures and protocols.</div><div>&middot; Develops and maintains a safety culture through awareness and observation, trains and educates employees on safety requirements, and reports all potential hazards and accidents.</div><div>&middot; Develop a talent bench within their respective district.</div><div>&middot; Develop effective working partnerships with all support partners including but not limited to Human Resources, Loss Prevention and Finance.</div><div>&middot; Analyzes reports, conducts site visits, reviews customer/donor input to develop sales plans that maximize stores performance.</div><div>&middot; Collaborates with senior leaders in strategic planning to develop annual budgets.</div><div>&middot; Monitors all expenses to ensure adherence to the allocated budget.</div><div>&middot; Ensure proper merchandising and organization by adhering to all merchandising standards.</div><div>&middot; Assists in creating standard operating procedures that govern the retail/donation environment and effectively delegates and follows up on implementation of those procedures.</div><div>&middot; Ensure production disciplines are in place and productivity expectations are met to maximize revenue by optimizing productivity.</div><div>&middot; Collaborate with senior leaders to establish standards for organization and visual appearance, design store layout, maintain inventory, fixtures, and displays. This role is ideal for candidates with strong analytical, administrative, and financial document review skills who enjoy working in a structured office environment.
