Job Title: Vice President, Account Management
 Location: Hybrid (Tuesday-Thursday in office, Monday & Friday remote)
Compensation & Benefits:
  • Base salary: $90,000+, DOE
  • Yearly performance bonus, based on performance
  • Fully paid medical insurance

Position Overview:
 Our client, a well-known public relations firm with a stellar reputation, is searching for an experienced, dynamic, and collaborative Vice President of Account Management to oversee 5-7 key client accounts and lead a high-performing team. They specialize in projects involving media relations, video production, legislative and grassroots efforts, digital marketing, event planning and crisis communications. The firm is dedicated to developing and delivering measurable communication strategies that align with client objectives.
This role requires a leader who thrives in a fast-paced, client-focused environment and is passionate about customer success. You will play a pivotal role in driving service excellence and fostering strong relationships with our clients, while ensuring the team consistently meets and exceeds expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and oversee 5-7 client accounts, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and service delivery.
  • Lead and mentor a team, providing guidance, support, and professional development.
  • Foster collaboration and teamwork across the organization; "We win together!"
  • Regularly meet with the COO to provide updates, discuss goals, and ensure alignment with company objectives.
  • Maintain a clear and accurate account of billable hours for each client and ensure work is completed on time and within scope.
  • Dive into the details when necessary to solve problems or remove obstacles for your team.
  • Stay on task, meet deadlines, and support the team’s ability to do the same.
  • Demonstrate a clear understanding of the "big picture" while maintaining attention to detail on daily operations.
  • Uphold and promote our company's core values in every interaction.
Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated leadership experience, with a track record of managing teams and driving client success.
  • Knowledge of Texas and Central Texas market is strongly preferred.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and internal teams.
  • A collaborative leader who is as comfortable getting into the details as they are overseeing strategic goals.
  • Kind, professional, and capable of providing constructive feedback to foster growth within the team.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to balance multiple priorities.
  • Experience in billing and accounting for your time spent on client accounts.
