Psychiatrist II, Expert
Job Description
The Psychiatrist II is a licensed physician (medical doctor) in the State of Texas. The SAPC is responsible for conducting accurate and timely mental and/or physical disability determinations for SSA disability claims, in accordance with SSA disability regulations.
- Performing advanced medical case reviews for disability determinations, ensuring that each Social Security disability case is fully documented.
- Reconciling conflicting evidence and ensuring conclusions are sound, rational, and well-supported.
- Clearly explaining the weight assigned to evidence and documenting the reasoning and thought process used in evaluating medical information.
- Indicating the effect of an applicant’s impairments on their capacity to work.
- Must be licensed as a medical doctor in the State of Texas.
This is an onsite position.
Candidates MUST be able to report daily to the central Austin office (Fully in-office position)
Pay: $155.06 per hour (weekly pay)
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8 AM – 5 PM
