Provides technical support to COVID-19 Continuous Quality Improvement team for providers registering through the DSHS Immunization Portal. Resolves discrepancies by contacting authorized users for information and provides education/training as necessary. Resolves duplicate records in the Immunization Portal and IIS. Assists with contract management and maintains provider information necessary for identifying, contacting, and linking providers to data. Communicates regularly by phone, fax, email, or in writing with authorized users of IIS from both public and private sectors. Supports users in ensuring data are entered into IIS effectively. Provide updates to IIS external stakeholders and other entities as needed. Maintains security and confidentiality of data at all times. Work with vendor and internal staff to review functional specifications and provide testing and documentation of changes and improvements. Process requests or resolve issues from customers (internal and external), providers, community organizations, and other stakeholders. Provide technical assistance to users. Train external users on data quality and systems reporting issues. The Program Specialist IV works under minimal supervision from the Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) Team Manager, within the Immunization Information System (IIS) Unit. The Program Specialist IV is responsible for data quality accuracy and completeness of the immunization data submitted by mail, email or fax and through online reporting. Assists in user interface data quality improvements and user acceptance testing. Reviews and approves IIS enrollment and re-enrollments, including assisting the provider in enrollment completion, as well as providing Syntropi, ImmTrac2 and VAOS support for TVFC /ASN and Pandemic enrollees. Troubleshoots issues with forms, customer entry, completeness and accuracy, assisting with data correction and overall data management as outlined in the CDC IIS Data Quality Improvement Blueprint. Receives, reviews and processes immunization record requests and consents from providers and the public. Assists in developing training and communications to train current and new IIS users and partners. Also responsible for providing outreach to providers and patients. Assists in the education of ImmTrac2 external and internal customer support/help desk staff. Manages provider contacts for all IIS end users, stakeholders and partner organizations. Assists in documenting and assigning identifiers for individuals, provider sites, schools, vendors, or other partners submitting or querying IIS.
