GSG is looking for a Program Specialist I, Experienced for a contract position.
This is a fully onsite position
Candidates MUST be able to report to the office in central Austin TX.

Pay: $36.99 per hour (weekly pay)
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Job Description:
- Process incoming records submitted by law enforcement agencies across the State of Texas
- Provide support in the planning, implementation, and documentation of records management programs
- Monitor and review compliance with laws, regulations, policies, and procedures
- Ensure adherence to state requirements and applicable regulations
- Maintain professional relationships with internal teams, law enforcement personnel, and community partners
- Analyze data, prepare reports, and communicate findings effectively
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university (or equivalent experience)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint)
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in law enforcement or criminal justice
- Knowledge of local, state, and federal regulations
- Experience with program management and public administration processes
Important Hiring Requirement:
This position requires an extensive background check that must be fully completed and cleared prior to starting employment.
Candidates must be willing to wait up to two weeks after a job offer is extended for the background check process to be completed. Start dates will be contingent upon successful clearance.
