GSG Talent Solutions is seeking licensed Professional Engineers (PE) to lead our Structural, MEP, and Civil engineering initiatives. These roles are critical to our integrated design-build workflow, providing technical oversight, regulatory compliance, and high-performance engineering solutions for residential and light commercial projects. We are looking for engineers who are committed to technical excellence and the integration of sustainable, high-performance building systems.
Discipline-Specific Responsibilities
Track 1: Structural Engineer
Design and analyze residential and light commercial foundation systems.
Engineer complex framing systems (timber, steel, and masonry).
Conduct lateral bracing analysis and define comprehensive load paths for diverse building types.
Ensure all structural components meet or exceed IRC/IBC and local building codes.
Track 2: MEP Engineer
Perform precise HVAC load calculations and mechanical system specifications.
Design robust electrical and plumbing systems for residential and commercial applications.
Lead energy compliance coordination and ensure integration with high-performance building envelopes.
Track 3: Civil Engineer
Oversee site grading, drainage analysis, and utility coordination.
Design stormwater management and detention systems in compliance with municipal regulations.
Navigate site development permitting processes and environmental assessments.
Sustainability & Green Integration
Across all disciplines, our engineering team is expected to champion sustainable design. Candidates must demonstrate familiarity with:
Green Rating Systems: LEED, NGBS (National Green Building Standard), or equivalent certifications.
Performance Modeling: Coordination with energy modeling and high-performance building systems.
Resource Efficiency: Implementation of water efficiency strategies and sustainable material selections.
Requirements & Qualifications
Licensure: Active Professional Engineer (PE) license in the State of Texas (or ability to obtain via comity) is mandatory.
Experience: Significant professional experience within the relevant discipline (Structural, MEP, or Civil).
Technical Proficiency: Mastery of discipline-specific engineering software and BIM integration (ArchiCAD/Revit).
Sustainability Focus: Proven track record or certification in sustainable engineering practices is highly preferred.
Compensation & Engagement Model
Salary Range: $95,000 – $160,000+ per year.
Determination: Compensation is tiered based on specific discipline, licensure status, and depth of seniority.
Flexibility: Positions may begin as contract-based roles to ensure cultural and technical fit before transitioning to full-time integration.
