Role Overview
GSG Talent Solutions is seeking eight experienced Investigator V professionals to support the Complaints and Inquiries unit. This critical role involves conducting preliminary intake reviews of reported educator misconduct to evaluate completeness, credibility, and jurisdiction in accordance with established requirements and unit procedures.
Primary Responsibilities
Intake & Evaluation: Conduct preliminary reviews of reported misconduct to assess jurisdiction and credibility consistent with GSG and state guidelines.
Information Gathering: Contact school districts and reporting parties to clarify details and obtain necessary records to support the review process.
Documentation Review: Evaluate incident reports, personnel records, and investigative summaries to identify key facts and documentation gaps.
Decision Making: Make formal intake determinations (e.g., proceed to investigation or close/no action) and document the rationale based on policy.
Referrals & Safety: Make timely internal and external referrals to legal, investigations, or outside agencies to ensure student safety and compliance.
Required Qualifications (Deal Breakers)
Legal Knowledge: Working knowledge of state and federal laws pertaining to child abuse, solicitation, misconduct, fraud, and confidentiality (Texas Penal, Education, Family, and Administrative Codes).
Experience: Proven experience conducting formal investigations or high-level complaint reviews.
Communication: Effective written and oral communication skills for professional reporting and interviewing.
Technical Compliance: Must be able to pass a DPS Criminal Background Check to access sensitive criminal history information.
Organization: Excellent prioritization and time management skills to handle a steady case volume.
Preferred Skills
Experience specifically reviewing allegations of abuse or violations impacting student safety.
Experience working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
Proficiency with Smartsheet and SharePoint.

GSG Talent Solutions is seeking a Program Specialist III to support the divisions of Complaints and Inquiries and Educator Investigations. This role is vital for ensuring the intake of complaints is handled with high-quality documentation and responsive support for all stakeholders.
Primary Responsibilities
Intake & Data Management: Support the intake of complaints and perform accurate, timely data entry within our CRM and computer-based systems.
Compliance Monitoring: Evaluate and monitor program compliance with policies, procedures, statutes, and rules.
Program Evaluation: Review service delivery methods and activities to identify resource gaps and recommend improvements.
Reporting: Collect, organize, and analyze materials to prepare reports in response to program information requests.
Confidentiality: Maintain strict confidentiality and high standards for all documentation.
Required Qualifications (Deal Breakers)
Certification: Must possess an active Texas Educator Certification.
Disciplinary Record: Certification must have no past or active disciplinary actions or sanctions on file.
Note: GSG utilizes a certification lookup tool to verify status; candidates with common names may be asked for a DOB or SSN for verification purposes.
Experience: Previous experience in a similar specialist or administrative compliance role.
Preferred Skills
Bilingual: Proficiency in Spanish is highly preferred.
Technical Proficiency: Experience with CRM systems and data management software.
