Food Service Worker II, Expert
Job Description
Examples of Work Performed:
- Assists in preparing and portioning meals, including special diets.
- Distributes and serves meals, beverages, and snacks.
- Prepares dining areas and sets up serving lines.
- Cleans dining, service, and food preparation areas.
- Sterilizes dishes, kitchen utensils, and equipment.
- Stores food properly to prevent spoilage.
- Receives food and supply deliveries from vendors.
- Monitors distribution of food and supplies.
- Prepares, maintains, and distributes records and reports.
- Performs other related tasks as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Knowledge of food preparation, storage, preservation, and sanitation regulations.
- Skill in operating, cleaning, and sanitizing food service appliances and equipment.
- Ability to prepare and serve food, clean related areas, and maintain accurate records.
