About the Opportunity
GSG Talent Solutions is seeking an experienced eLearning Developer II to support a Texas state agency implementing a statewide Public Health Electronic Health Record (PH EHR) system. This is an excellent opportunity for an instructional design professional who enjoys developing engaging, interactive training solutions that support statewide technology initiatives.
Working alongside another eLearning Developer and the PH EHR Coordinator, you will design, develop, and deploy modern eLearning content that helps users successfully adopt a new electronic health record system.
Work Schedule
This position follows a hybrid two-week rotating schedule:
Week 1
- Monday–Wednesday: Remote
- Thursday–Friday: Onsite
Week 2
- Monday–Wednesday: Onsite
- Thursday–Friday: Remote
Essential Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy engaging computer-based and interactive eLearning courses.
- Create multimedia learning experiences using audio, video, animation, narrated presentations, simulations, podcasts, webcasts, and virtual learning environments.
- Collaborate with the PH EHR Coordinator to identify training needs and develop learning solutions.
- Develop training curricula and coordinate training schedules for CMIS users.
- Evaluate training effectiveness and continuously improve course content and delivery.
- Ensure all training materials comply with state and federal accessibility requirements.
- Review and remediate eLearning content to meet accessibility standards.
- Work collaboratively with project team members to support implementation of the Public Health Electronic Health Record system.
Required Qualifications
Candidates should have experience developing professional eLearning content and be proficient with the following tools:
- Camtasia Pro
- Camtasia Create
- Canva Pro
- Microsoft Visio
- SnagIt Pro
Additionally, candidates must have:
- Knowledge of adult learning theory and instructional design principles.
- Experience developing instructor-led and computer-based training materials.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience creating engaging multimedia learning content.
- Ability to analyze and improve training effectiveness.
- Experience ensuring accessibility compliance for digital learning content.
Preferred Experience
- Experience supporting large technology implementations, healthcare systems, or enterprise software training is highly desirable.
- Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems or statewide technology initiatives is a plus.
