Customer Service Representative – IT Help Desk
Location: Central Austin, TX (Onsite Only)
Pay: $21.94 per hour (Weekly Pay)
Schedule:
- First six weeks: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- After six weeks: Shift options of 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM or 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM

Position Overview:
GSG Talent Solutions is seeking a Customer Service Representative for a contract position. This role involves providing customer service support in an IT help desk environment, assisting external law enforcement constituents via phone, email, and ticketing systems.
This position requires candidates to work onsite in central Austin, TX. Applications from candidates outside of Austin and its greater surrounding areas will not be accepted.
Candidates must be able to pass a federal background check.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to customer inquiries following specific guidelines and procedures.
- Provide first-line support for online systems and software applications.
- Enter and maintain information in a database.
- Review electronic documents for completeness and accuracy.
- Research information to resolve customer service issues.
- Work under general supervision.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
- Knowledge of customer service and administrative procedures.
- Proficiency in using standard office equipment and software.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Familiarity with a call center environment.
- Ability to problem-solve and remain calm in high-pressure situations.
- Critical thinking and attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a results-driven team environment.
- Experience in business administration and IT desktop support is preferred.
