Location: Austin, TX (On-Site at DPS Facility)
Pay Rate: $20.56 per hour (Weekly Pay)
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Start Date: ASAP
End Date: August 31, 2026 (may be extended based on business needs)

We are currently hiring a Custodian II for a full-time contract role supporting a DPS facility in Austin.Position OverviewThis is a hands-on custodial role responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and professional environment. We are looking for someone reliable, detail-oriented, and ready to start quickly.
**Must be able to pass a background check**
Key Responsibilities
- Sweep, mop, dust, and vacuum floors and carpets
- Clean restrooms, windows, walls, and common areas
- Replenish restroom and janitorial supplies
- Operate custodial equipment (buffers, vacuums, extractors)
- Remove trash and sanitize surfaces
- Assist with room setups for meetings/events
- Maintain supply areas and inventory
- Follow all safety procedures
- Other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- At least 6 months of custodial/janitorial experience required
- Valid driver’s license required
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check (required for consideration)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical work throughout shift
- Strong attendance and reliability
- Ability to follow schedules and instructions
