About the Role:
GSG Talent Solutions is seeking compassionate and dedicated Caseworker Support Coordinators (CSC) to support the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services (DFPS) in supervising youth in the Children Without Placement (CWOP) program. This essential role provides direct supervision and support to children, primarily ages 10–17, during their temporary community location stays.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work alongside DFPS caseworkers to provide consistent, trauma-informed supervision of youth in care
- Ensure children’s basic needs are met, including food, hygiene, safety, and recreation
- Support educational and structured activity efforts as needed
- Maintain accurate and timely communication with DFPS contacts and follow supervision protocols
- Provide a calm, engaging, and supportive presence for children in stressful and transitional situations
Who We're Looking For:
- Individuals with experience working with children who have experienced abuse, neglect, or significant trauma
- Prior experience in child welfare, social services, or behavioral support preferred
- Strong communication, patience, and conflict-resolution skills
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Must be able to pass an extensive background check
- Must complete required online training before starting any shifts
Additional Details:
- Flexible scheduling: Choose your shifts based on availability
- Hours: Up to 40 hours per week (part-time and full-time options available)
- Start Date: ASAP
- Contract End Date: August 31, 2025
- Pay Rate: $32.47 per hour (paid weekly)
- Travel Reimbursement: Mileage is reimbursed at the current state rate for travel from home or headquarters to CWOP location (whichever is less). No child or family transport is allowed.
Training:
All new hires must complete online training prior to being assigned any shifts. You will be notified by your regional point of contact once you're cleared to begin.
