Pay Range: $65,000 – $80,000 annually

Position Summary:
The Associate IT Consultant plays a key support role in our client service and internal operations. You’ll be responsible for completing infrastructure tasks, providing Tier 1 and Tier 2 support, deploying hardware/software, and assisting Consultants across diverse environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor systems using alert/reporting tools and escalate issues when needed
Perform daily checks on system health, antivirus, and backup status
Execute infrastructure maintenance tasks on schedule
Inspect patch statuses, server logs, and system operations
Assist with workstation/laptop setup and deployment
Install/test software (e.g., Microsoft Office) and connect peripheral devices
Deliver and test IT hardware at client locations
Resolve Tier 1 and 2 support tickets (password resets, device issues, virus scans, etc.)
Maintain organized inventory of IT hardware and accessories
Record time and tasks accurately in tracking systems
Collaborate with Consultants and escalate technical issues appropriately
Requirements:
Familiarity with Windows/macOS operating systems
Basic knowledge of networking and cybersecurity principles
Experience with troubleshooting, virus removal, and software installs
Physically able to lift and move IT equipment
Prior experience in a Managed Service Provider (MSP) environment a strong plus
Passion for continuous learning and professional growth
Based in Austin, TX or surrounding areas for on-site support

Windows Server & Active Directory
Microsoft 365 (Exchange, Teams, SharePoint)
Mobile device support (iOS/Android)
DNS, DHCP, NAT, subnets
Shared file systems and drive configuration
