GSG Talent Solutions is seeking a detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to support a Texas State Agency’s Alternative Fuels Safety Department in Austin. This is a full-time, short-term contract role supporting training operations and database management.

Position Overview
This role supports the Training Department with Salesforce data entry, certification processing, course roster management, and exam administration. The selected candidate will work closely with the Training Manager to ensure all training and certification data is accurately entered and maintained.
Key Responsibilities
Manage data entry and records in Salesforce
Process LP-Gas certification exemptions
Create and manage course rosters and training events
Enter training and exam data into the database
Assist with administering/proctoring exams
Manage training email inbox
File and maintain training records
Identify and report process/system errors
Assist with documentation and process improvements
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
2+ years of administrative, clerical, or customer service experience in a professional office
Ability to work on-site Monday–Friday, 8AM–5PM
Strong organization and attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Salesforce (highly preferred)
Experience supporting training programs or scheduling
Government agency experience
Process improvement experience
Required Skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
Experience working with databases
Strong time management and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Ability to learn new systems quickly
