Job Duties:
Perform the cash management duties of the vacant Cash Management Team Lead position. These include:
- Training new cash management staff in drawing federal funds, preparing deposit vouchers, entering cash revenue corrections, and processing revenue refunds.
- Train staff in daily and monthly revenue tasks and revise/update cash management procedures.
- Perform and assist with other cash management duties as needed such as reconciling revenue.
Required Skills/Deal Breakers
- Intermediate or advanced Excel knowledge is required
- Experience teaching staff how to draw federal funds and how to perform cash management duties
- Experience requesting federal grant funds from federal systems
- Experience reconciling cash revenue to Comptroller Uniform State-wide Accounting System (USAS)
- Experience with Texas Education Agency custom cash receipt system in order to teach new staff
