GSG is looking for Accountant V for a contract position.

This is a REMOTE position, but candidates must live in the state of Texas

No out of TEXAS applications will be accepted.

Monday through Friday 8 AM- 5 PM 40 HRS (flexible to do draws some days (earlier start)

Pay: $51.25 per hour (weekly Pay)

Job Duties:

• Performs monthly reconciliations between TCAPPS (TEA's modified version of CAPPS accounting system) and the Uniform State-wide Accounting System (USAS) at the cash and appropriation levels.
• Performs monthly reconciliations of federal grants between TCAPPS and the federal grant system.

Required Skills/Deal Breakers

• Intermediate or advanced Excel knowledge is required
• Fast learner who thrives in a high-performing environment
• Highly organized; ability to manage multiple projects at once and meet deadlines
• Must have experience performing financial reconciliations between two systems
